Installation

Set out from the standard, marked and checked before fixing. Discrete indicators are drilled and mechanically fixed, or bonded, according to the substrate and the manufacturer's method. Integrated tiles are bedded into new wet-laid finishes or adhered to prepared existing floors. Existing non-conforming, damaged or lifting indicators are removed and the surface made good before replacement.

Installation on operating sites, stations, campuses and live construction programs, staged to keep the path of travel open.

Rectification

TGSIs are among the commonest items on a surveyor's or access consultant's list at occupancy: missing at one end of a stair, wrong offset, insufficient contrast, lifting. Send the list or a photograph and the item is priced the same day.

Documentation and handover

Product data, luminance contrast selection, the set-out detail and photographs, supplied for the building surveyor, access consultant or asset register. Certification and sign-off remain with the surveyor. Installation carries a 24 month workmanship guarantee.
