The site never closes
A hospital, a clinic or an aged care home is occupied around the clock by the people the access standards exist for. Work has to be staged so corridors stay open, noise and dust are controlled, and a resident or a patient is never left without a path of travel. That shapes how every item is scheduled and delivered.
What is delivered
- Audit rectification. Access audit and accreditation items priced individually and cleared in a sequence agreed with the facility manager.
- Handrails, extensions and grab rails in corridors, stairs, bathrooms and resident rooms, including correction of existing work to the current standard.
- Stair nosings and tactile indicators on stairs, ramps and platform edges.
- Thresholds and transitions at doorways, between finishes, and at external doors to courtyards and gardens.
- Access ramps. Freestanding modular aluminium systems for entries, level changes and temporary access during works. Available for purchase or hire, so a temporary need does not become a permanent structure.
Multi-site groups
Aged care and retirement village operators carry the same access obligations across many sites under one property team. Items are scoped across the portfolio, priced as a schedule, and delivered site by site with one point of contact and one set of documentation.
On site
Installation by qualified tradespeople, scheduled with the facility, with site protection and clean handover on every item. Police checked and Working with Children checked personnel.
Documentation
Product data, the installation detail for each item, and photographs, supplied for the building surveyor, the access consultant, the accreditation file and the asset register. Certification and sign-off remain with the surveyor. Installation carries a 24 month workmanship guarantee.
