How we quote
What we need, and what comes back, depends on who is asking. An occupational therapist arrives with an assessment already done. A family enquiring for the first time usually has a photograph and a question. A builder has drawings.
Whoever is asking, enquiries are answered within one business day.
An occupational therapist referring a client
Send the assessment. Formal drawings are not needed.
Where it carries a measured rise and the clearances at the top and bottom of the run, an indicative price comes back within one business day, in a form you can put in front of a funding body.
Where it does not, or where the site needs to be seen, we arrange a site visit and confirm the arrangements with you before anything is booked.
Your recommendation is followed as written. Where a site constraint means it cannot be, the constraint is raised with you rather than changed on site.
How the work is paid for depends on the scheme. The funding schemes we work with
On completion you receive the installation detail with the as-installed gradient, and photographs, for the client file and the funding body.

A rough measurement
The height from the ground to the threshold, and how much space there is at the bottom.
The suburb
So we know whether the site sits inside the Melbourne metropolitan area.
Any date it has to meet
A discharge, a practical completion, an opening.
Anything you already have
An occupational therapist's assessment, an access consultant's report or drawings, where one exists.
Nothing formal
Formal drawings are not needed. A photograph and a suburb is enough to start.
An indicative price comes back within one business day. That is enough to work out whether the job is worth progressing. It is not a firm price. It is based on what you sent, and it moves if the site turns out to be different.
The site inspection
Photographs are enough for an indicative price. They are not enough to order a ramp from, because the length of a modular ramp follows the measured rise and the layout follows the ground and the space available. A site inspection comes before a firm quote on a ramp order.
Site visits are free in the Melbourne metropolitan area. Outside it, we quote the visit before we attend and credit it in full to your order. A visit is never charged as a surprise.
Payment on a ramp order is 50 per cent deposit on acceptance and the balance on completion. The ramp is ordered once the deposit is received.
A builder, fitout contractor or head contractor
Send drawings, a defects list or an access audit.
A single entry is priced firm from the drawings. No site visit is needed to give you a number you can put in a tender or a variation.
Where the scope covers a path of travel with several items on it, or sits inside a construction program, we walk the site first. It is measured once, together, rather than in pieces, and sequencing, site access and the practical completion date are worked through on site.
Commercial terms are confirmed with the quote.
Estimates and quotes
An indicative price given from photographs, drawings or measurements you have supplied is an estimate. It is free, and it is based on what you have told us.
A quote issued after a site inspection is a firm price for the scope described in it.
Hire is paid before delivery.
